SURVEILLANCE GORILLA
Surveillance Gorilla is operated by Cosmacallan Limited, trading as Surveillance Gorilla. These Terms apply to our public website and standard AI-assisted market surveillance application. Consulting and individually contracted enterprise services are governed by their own agreements.
What Surveillance Gorilla does
Surveillance Gorilla helps surveillance professionals organise evidence, consider potential market abuse, identify information gaps and prepare analytical commentary. It is a decision-support tool, not a replacement for a firm’s surveillance systems, professional judgement or compliance responsibilities.
AI-generated findings may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular case. Review and verify all outputs against the underlying evidence and applicable rules before relying on them. You and your organisation remain responsible for investigation, closure, escalation and regulatory decisions.
Your account
If you register, please provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity carried out using your account. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users or legal rights.
Information you submit
Only submit information you have the right and authority to use with this service. For the standard app, use anonymised or synthetic case materials wherever possible. Do not submit personal information about others, confidential employer or client material, legally privileged information, material non-public information or other restricted content without appropriate authorisation and a lawful basis to do so.
Your submissions may be processed by third-party AI services to deliver the requested analysis. Our Privacy Policy explains the information handled and the relevant service providers.
You retain your rights in the material you provide. You grant Cosmacallan Limited permission to process that material solely as needed to operate the features you choose, maintain security and comply with applicable law. You must not submit material that infringes another person’s rights or is unlawful.
Use of the service
Do not misuse the app, attempt to bypass security or usage limits, interfere with its operation, or represent AI-generated content as a verified investigation when it has not been checked. Surveillance Gorilla is not a legal opinion, regulatory certification or guarantee of detecting misconduct.
The Surveillance Gorilla name, software, design and underlying materials remain the intellectual property of Cosmacallan Limited or its licensors. You may use results generated through your account for your permitted professional purposes, subject to any third-party rights and your organisation’s policies.
Plans and subscriptions
Available plans, prices, usage allowances and renewal terms are shown in the app or relevant app store. In-app subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google, as applicable. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the relevant store’s subscription settings. Deleting the app or your account does not automatically cancel store billing. Refund rights are governed by applicable law and the store’s terms.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every analysis will be error-free. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cosmacallan Limited is not responsible for decisions made without independent review of AI-generated outputs or for use contrary to these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply where you live.
